Castelli Pedroli Prize awarded to Per-Henrik Groop

The principal investigator of the Finnish Diabetic Nephropathy Study, Associate Professor Per-Henrik Groop, was awarded the Castelli Pedroli Prize for achievements in the study of diabetic complications. The official seremony took place in the 2009 Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes in Vienna, Austria, where Prof Groop also gave the 24th Camillo Golgi lecture.

The FinnDiane Group congratulates Prof Groop, or "Perra", for this important international recognition and we are enthusiastic to continue together on our journey towards new scientific discoveries and new remedies for the affected patients.
